The PDA-PPy/SPCE exhibited excellent sensing performance with a low detection limit and high sensitivity, showing potential application prospects in real sample analysis.

Summary: Cross-linked chitosan (CS) films with aldehyde groups were prepared using oxidation of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) with NaIO4. The presence of aldehyde groups in the oxidized carboxymethyl cellulose (CMCOx) was confirmed by FTIR and NMR spectroscopy. The study showed that the cross-linking conditions and molar ratio of -CHO/-NH2 affected the curcumin encapsulation efficiency, release efficiency, and skin membrane permeability. Increasing cross-linking degree resulted in decreased encapsulation efficiency and release efficiency of curcumin, but also influenced the absorption of curcumin in the skin membrane.
