Resource-efficient DAG Blockchain with Sharding for 6G Networks

Blockchain technology presents a promising avenue for securing resource sharing in such a peer-to-peer network. However, existing blockchain systems like Bitcoin face limitations in processing high volumes of transactions concurrently in large-scale 6G networks. To address this challenge, a blockchain scaling scheme is proposed that leverages Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) and sharding to enable efficient processing and recording of resource transactions, while also maintaining security through a global DAG of blocks. Additionally, a computation efficient consensus algorithm is introduced to enhance resource utilization efficiency.
