Exploring Pre- and In-service Science Teachers' Green Chemistry and Sustainability Awareness and Their Attitudes Towards Environmental Education in ISRAEL

Summary: This study surveyed 271 pre- and in-service science teachers in Israel on their level of awareness about green chemistry and sustainability, as well as attitudes toward environmental education. The findings showed that teachers had low awareness of sustainability and green chemistry in general, but had mostly positive attitudes towards environmental education. In-service science teachers had more knowledge about green chemistry and sustainability than pre-service science teachers.

Embedding systems thinking in tertiary chemistry for sustainability

Teaching on video as an instructional strategy to reduce confirmation bias-a pre-registered study

Summary: This study aimed to examine the impact of different instructional strategies on student teachers' confirmation bias, finding that confirmation bias was reduced to a similar extent in all conditions, but TOV participants had the highest quality of prepared lesson.
