N-doped residual carbon from coal gasification fine slag decorated with Fe3O4 nanoparticles for electromagnetic wave absorption

Jun He et al.

Summary: In this study, Fe3O4 @NRC composites were successfully synthesized and characterized. The results showed that the composites exhibited excellent electromagnetic wave absorption capacity, which could be adjusted by controlling the content of Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The findings are significant for promoting the resource utilization of residual carbon in coal gasification fine slag.

Nanosheet architecture of Cu9S5 loaded with Fe3O4 microspheres for efficient electromagnetic wave absorption

Jun Liao et al.

Summary: The study prepared Cu9S5 nanosheets and Cu9S5/Fe3O4 composites, finding that the combination of dielectric and magnetic loss components played a significant role in eliminating EM waves. By adjusting the mass ratio of composites to paraffin wax, samples with different absorption performance were obtained. Among them, 50%wtCF/paraffin showed the best absorption performance.
