In this study, the nutritional contents, usage areas, chemical compositions and pharmacological properties of Genus Salvia were reviewed. In this context, the use of Salvia species in pharmacological designs and their nutritional importance were emphasized. As a result, it has been determined that members of Genus Salvia are one of the important plant species used in complementary medicine.
