Multiple solutions for nanofluids flow and heat transfer in porous medium with velocity slip and temperature jump

Waqar Khan Usafzai et al.

Summary: This study investigates the fluid flow and heat transfer of water-based nanofluids over a stretching/shrinking permeable sheet with porous environment under velocity slip and temperature jump conditions. By transforming the nonlinear partial differential equations into a set of ordinary differential equations, multiple exact solutions are found for both stretching and shrinking problems. The influence of stretching or shrinking and velocity slip parameters in shaping the flow behavior is reported, along with the presentation of velocity and temperature profiles under various parametric values.

Recent advances on the fundamental physical phenomena behind stability, dynamic motion, thermophysical properties, heat transport, applications, and challenges of nanofluids

Zafar Said et al.

Summary: The rapid development of nanotechnology in the past decade has created numerous opportunities for researchers and engineers. Nanofluids, created by suspending nanoparticles in conventional heat transfer carriers, offer significant advantages in thermal properties. This study addresses the challenge of nanofluid stability and analyzes various forces and physical phenomena affecting the stability. Stable and highly conductive nanofluids can be produced through one-step or two-step production methods, but both methods face the problem of nanoparticle agglomeration.

Nanofluids: properties and applications

Ghassan Fadhil Smaisim et al.

Summary: Nanofluids are liquid suspensions of hard nanometer-sized particles suspended in a base fluid. Hybrid nanofluids, which consist of two distinct forms of nanoparticles diffused in base fluids, display strong heat transfer efficiency and have a wide range of thermal applications.

Heat transfer analysis in convective flows of fractional second grade fluids with Caputo-Fabrizio and Atangana-Baleanu derivative subject to Newtonion heating

Imran Siddique et al.

Summary: Unsteady free convection flows of an incompressible differential type fluid over an infinite vertical plate with fractional thermal transport were studied. It was found that the memory of the physical aspects of the problem is well explained by fractional order models as compared to ordinary one, with the (ABC) model being the best fit to explain the memory effect of the temperature and velocity fields.

Application of water based drilling clay-nanoparticles in heat transfer of fractional Maxwell fluid over an infinite flat surface

Muhammad Imran Asjad et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the unsteady free convection flow of Maxwell fluid containing clay-nanoparticles, calculates the effective thermal conductivity and viscosity values, and establishes a fractional model to describe the decay property of field variables. The impact of different flow parameters on velocity is analyzed through graphical representation.
