Adecuacy of pediatric antimicrobial prescribing in the Emergency Department at discharge

Summary: This study aimed to assess the adequacy of antimicrobial stewardship at discharge from a pediatric Emergency Department and found that the adequacy of antimicrobial treatment was below 50%. The study also revealed that the degree of adequacy to the local protocols of the center was greater than to the regional Guide.
