PSMA PET/CT is increasingly used for evaluating prostate cancer. We present a case of a 50-year-old man with high-risk PCa, in which Ga-68-PSMA-11 PET/CT identified multiple active perirenal fascia metastases, in addition to prostatic primary, nodal, and skeletal metastases. This case highlights the uncommon metastatic site of perirenal fascia in PCa.
Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/CT is being increasingly utilized as a hybrid imaging modality for the evaluation of prostate cancer (PCa). We report a case of a 50-year-old man with biopsy-proven high-risk PCa in which multiple tracer avid perirenal fascia deposits were identified on Ga-68-PSMA-11 PET/CT, in addition to multi-focal prostatic primary, extensive nodal, and skeletal metastases. This case highlights that perirenal fascia is an uncommon metastatic site in PCa.
