Corporate venture capital and CSR performance: An extended resource based view's perspective

Summary: This paper extends the Resource Based View theory by testing an empirical model on how corporate venture capital impacts corporate social responsibility performance. Results show that CVC programs have a positive impact on firms' environmental and social outcomes, contributing to RBV theory analysis and literature on corporate venture capital and corporate social responsibility. Additionally, insights developed in the study can be applied by practitioners to successfully implement CVC practices and CSR strategies.
