Nienke J. A. Moor et al.

Summary: This study aims to explore the residential satisfaction of older adults in four small Dutch villages and its influencing factors. The findings indicate that older adults' perceptions of spatial, social, and functional aspects of the living environment are related to their residential satisfaction. Older adults who have health problems experience lower residential satisfaction. However, the relationship between health problems and residential satisfaction can only be partially explained by different perceptions of the environment.
