How and when mindfulness inhibits emotional exhaustion: a moderated mediation model

Summary: Clinical studies have proven the importance of mindfulness in reducing psychological distress, but this aspect has been overlooked in occupational settings. This study, through two empirical studies, found that mindfulness significantly reduces psychological distress and subsequently emotional exhaustion when workplace bullying is low to moderate. The research expands on the existing literature on mindfulness and occupational wellbeing and fills the research gap regarding burnout and workplace bullying in sub-Saharan Africa.

How Do Team Cooperative Goals Influence Thriving at Work: The Mediating Role of Team Time Consensus

Summary: This study explores the relationship between team cooperative goals and thriving at work by introducing team temporal leadership as a moderating variable and team time consensus as a mediating variable. The results show that team cooperative goals have a positive impact on team time consensus and team time consensus has a positive impact on team thriving at work. Furthermore, team temporal leadership not only moderates the relationship between team cooperative goals and team time consensus but also moderates the indirect effect of team cooperative goals on team thriving at work through team time consensus.
