The embedded structure of high entropy alloy onto graphene was found to significantly benefit H* sorption and catalytic kinetics.

Summary: In this study, a variety of Pt-RMA and Pt-HEA nanoparticles were successfully synthesized under ambient conditions using hydrogen cold plasma. The effectiveness of the method is attributed to the hydrogen anions in the plasma, which possess strong reducing ability and can simultaneously reduce Pt and reactive metal precursors. The synthesized nanoparticles showed improved catalytic properties in methanol oxidation reaction compared to commercial Pt, offering a new platform for studying this group of nanomaterials.

By growing flower-like phosphates on a porous microwave sintered CoCrFeNiMo high entropy alloy (HEA) using the hydrothermal-phosphorization method, a catalyst with excellent OER performance was obtained. The porous HEA phosphates showed low overpotential, small Tafel slope and superior stability in 1.0 M KOH, even after 5000 cyclic voltammetry (CV) tests.
