Dehydrogenation of N2H4?H2O over NiMoO4 nanorods-stabilized NiPt bimetal nanoparticles for on-demand H2 evolution

Summary: The exploration of an "on-off" switch for demand-based H2 generation from N2H4.H2O dehydrogenation is important for efficient and safe production, deposition, and transportation of H2 gas. Nickel molybdate nanorods (NMN)-stabilized NixPty bimetallic nanoparticles (NixPty/NMN) were designed and synthesized as a high-efficiency and selective catalyst for demand-based H2 generation. The optimized nano-catalyst Ni1Pt1/NMN exhibited the highest turnover frequency (TOF) in H2 generation from N2H4.H2O dehydrogenation, and a pH-adjusting method successfully developed a selective "on-off" switch for on-demand H2 generation.

Defects engineering of metal-organic framework immobilized Ni-La(OH)3 nanoparticles for enhanced hydrogen production

Ru nanoclusters with high dispersion (1.71 nm in diameter) were formed on functionalized carbon nanotubes, leading to significantly improved catalytic activity in hydrogen generation from ammonia borane hydrolysis. This strategy provides an efficient approach for preparing various carbon-supported metal catalysts with promising catalytic applications.

Summary: Deuterated organic compounds are widely used in various fields such as medicinal chemistry, mechanistic studies, and quantitative analyses. Photocatalytic deuteration has emerged as a reliable platform for generating deuterated organic molecules, particularly pharmaceutical compounds, with advantages such as mild conditions and good site selectivity. This review summarizes recent advances in visible-light photocatalytic deuteration reactions based on the type of bond deuterated.

Pd/C-Catalyzed transfer hydrogenation of N-H indoles with trifluoroethanol and tetrahydroxydiboron as the hydrogen source

Summary: A catalytic system for the reduction of un-activated N-H indoles has been developed using transfer hydrogenation with tetrahydroxydiboron as the hydrogen source. Good to excellent yields of N-H indolines were obtained, and isotopic labeling experiments were conducted to probe the mechanism.
