Facile Approach to Enhance Electrical and Thermal Performance of Conducting Polymer PEDOT:PSS Films via Hot Pressing

Wendong Liu et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the effects of hot pressing on the electrical and thermal performance of acid-treated thick conducting polymer PEDOT:PSS films. The study reveals that hot pressing significantly enhances the electrical and thermal conductivity of the films, which can be attributed to the optimized morphology and microstructures. The hot-pressed PEDOT:PSS films show potential applications in flexible electronics and thermal management.

Anisotropic Electrical Conductivity and Isotropic Seebeck Coefficient Feature Induced High Thermoelectric Power Factor >1800 μW m-1 K-2 in MWCNT Films

Xu Sun et al.

Summary: The power factor of flexible multi-walled carbon nanotube films has been significantly enhanced by utilizing the anisotropic electrical conductivity and isotropic Seebeck coefficient features of 1D CNTs, along with doping and cold-pressing processes to improve electrical conductivity. This has resulted in a high power factor comparable to state-of-the-art single/double-walled carbon nanotube films and most inorganic TE materials.
