A novel fluorescence sensor based on Zn porphyrin MOFs for the detection of bisphenol A with highly selectivity and sensitivity

Yixuan Pang et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel luminescent sensor Zn-TCPP-MOF was designed for ultra-sensitive and quantitative detection of BPA, displaying a highly sensitive and selective fluorescence quenching mechanism. The adsorption experiments showed Zn-TCPP-MOF had the most evident adsorption performance for BPA, and zeta potential tests indicated only BPA could significantly change the surface potential of Zn-TCPP-MOF.

Dumbbell Plate-Shaped AIEgen-Based Luminescent MOF with High Quantum Yield as Self-Enhanced ECL Tags: Mechanism Insights and Biosensing Application

Jingshuai Li et al.

Summary: This study synthesized a high-luminous metal-organic framework (MOF) by combining aggregation-induced emission luminogens and Zr(IV) cations to improve the detection sensitivity of electrochemiluminescence (ECL) strategy. The MOF exhibited stronger ECL activity than monomers and aggregates, which was defined as coordination-triggered electrochemiluminescence (CT-ECL) enhancement effect. The covalent connection of polyethyleneimine (PEI) with MOF further enhanced the stability of the ECL signal.

Regulation of the Structure of Zirconium-Based Porphyrinic Metal-Organic Framework as Highly Electrochemiluminescence Sensing Platform for Thrombin

Peipei Li et al.

Summary: This study developed porphyrin-based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with different properties as sensitive electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensors. By controlling the reaction time, the MOFs exhibited excellent ECL performance and were used for the highly sensitive and selective detection of thrombin. This research provides a new approach for effective ECL immunoassays in the diagnosis of diseases.

Functionalization of Covalent Organic Frameworks with DNA via Covalent Modification and the Application to Exosomes Detection

Jianyang Lu et al.

Summary: In this study, we proposed a functionalization strategy for covalent organic frameworks (COFs) using DNA. The DNA-functionalized COFs exhibited good hybridization ability and cargo loading ability. Based on this, an electrochemical biosensor for the detection of exosomes was developed. The functionalized COFs enabled the recognition and capture of exosomes, while the encapsulation of methylene blue in the COFs enhanced the sensitivity of the biosensor.
