Garazi Zulaika et al.

Summary: The study found that in adolescent girls in Kenya, factors such as orphanhood, low BMI, age, and menstrual cycle were associated with HIV infection, early menarche was related to adolescent pregnancy, and girls who had experienced sexual harassment were more likely to engage in sexual activity. These findings underscore the gender inequality issues in adolescent sexual and reproductive health.
