Lead oxide enables lead volatilization pollution inhibition and phase purity modulation in perovskite quantum dots embedded borosilicate glass

Bobo Yang et al.

Summary: Embedding inorganic CsPbX3 perovskite quantum dots into glass effectively enhances their stability. By using PbO instead of PbBr2, melting temperature is lowered and pollution from lead halide raw materials is reduced, resulting in high-purity CsPbBr3 PQDs embedded glass with improved properties.Changing the halogen element successfully prepares red and blue CsPbX3 PQDs embedded glasses with enhanced thermal stability and photo-aging properties.

Recent Advances in Blue Perovskite Quantum Dots for Light-Emitting Diodes

Haiyang He et al.

Summary: This review highlights recent advances in blue perovskite quantum dots (PQDs), including mixed-halide, quantum-confined all-bromide, metal-doped, and lead-free PQDs, and their applications in PeLEDs. While several excellent PeLEDs based on these PQDs have been demonstrated, there are still many issues to be addressed.

Effect of Solvent Residue in the Thin-Film Fabrication on Perovskite Solar Cell Performance

Yawei Zhou et al.

Summary: Organic-inorganic Pb-based halide perovskite photoelectrical materials, especially perovskite solar cells (PSCs), have attracted attention due to significant efforts in improving power conversion efficiency. However, the stability issue of PSCs restricts their commercialization. The study found that solvent residue has a significant impact on the stability of perovskite films prepared by the solution method.

Synthesis of SiO2-coated CdSe/ZnS quantum dots using various dispersants in the photoresist for color-conversion micro-LED displays

Kai-Ping Chang et al.

Summary: This study synthesized silicon dioxide-coated cadmium selenide/zinc sulfide quantum dots and adjusted their emission wavelength. The SiO2 coating enhanced the photoluminescence intensity and reduced the fluorescence decay rate. Moreover, the hydrophilic nature of these coated quantum dots enabled their integration into the color-conversion layer of a microLED display.

Summary: Research shows that cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals, composed of the same halogen composition but with different sizes, can effectively suppress concentration quenching and exhibit high optical stability. The combination of blue-emitting and green-emitting nanocrystals in an energy donor-acceptor system demonstrates improved photoluminescence quantum yield in the film state, attributed to efficient suppression of concentration quenching through FRET from the blue-emitting nanocrystals to the green-emitting nanocrystals.
