PROBLEMS OF COGNITIVE STRATEGIES AND EMOTIONAL REGULATION OF TEACHERS IN MODERN EDUCATION

Rashid Jabbarov et al.

Summary: This article examines the manifestations of cognitive strategies and emotional regulation among teachers. The study involves 64 teachers with different academic backgrounds and teaching at different faculties. The findings suggest that age plays a role in shaping cognitive strategies and emotional self-regulation of teachers. Cognitive strategies and expressive suppression of emotions are associated with different qualities of teachers. Adequate self-regulation of emotion is more significantly related to cognitive strategy than expressive suppression. The study also reveals correlations between cognitive reappraisal and personality traits, as well as emotional intelligence and resilience among teachers.

Review article: A systematic review and future prospects of flood vulnerability indices

Luana Lavagnoli Moreira et al.

Summary: Research on flood vulnerability has been rapidly increasing, with common methods including min-max normalization, equal weighting, and linear aggregation. Studies primarily focus on socioeconomic aspects, while aspects related to citizen coping and adaptive capacity require further attention. Various gaps and challenges in current research call for a more theoretically grounded and dynamic approach to studying flood vulnerability.
