Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Inhibitor or Angiotensin Receptor Blocker Use Among Hypertensive US Adults With Albuminuria

Chi D. Chu et al.

Summary: This study observed a slight increase in the prevalence of albuminuria >= 300 mg/g among US adults with hypertension from 2001 to 2018, but no significant changes in the proportion receiving ACE inhibitor/ARB treatment. In the period from 2013 to 2018, the utilization of ACE inhibitor/ARB in adults with diabetes and albuminuria >= 300 mg/g was 55.3%, while it was 33.4% in those without diabetes.
