Tuning Exciton Recombination Pathways in Inorganic Bismuth-Based Perovskite for Broadband Emission

Ming Shi et al.

Summary: In this study, stable lead-free broadband emission under ambient conditions was achieved by introducing antimony (Sb) doping. The doping of Sb regulated the transfer of free excitons to extrinsic self-trapped excitons (STEs) and reduced nonradiative recombination, which are responsible for the significantly enhanced broad emission. Femtosecond transient absorption results elucidated the exciton dynamics and confirmed this mechanism.
