Temperature- and Bias-Dependent Degradation and Regeneration of Perovskite Solar Cells with Organic and Inorganic Hole Transport Layers

Craig H. Swartz et al.

Summary: Hybrid halide perovskite solar cells have high power conversion efficiencies, but poor stability is a major barrier to commercialization. Comparison of organic and inorganic hole transport layers shows that degradation of the organic layer can be reversed by applying a forward bias soak. The inorganic hole transport layer exhibits better stability under elevated temperatures.

Thermal and Humidity Stability of Mixed Spacer Cations 2D Perovskite Solar Cells

Huayang Yu et al.

Summary: By using two different types of spacer cations to prepare perovskite precursor solutions, self-assembled polycrystalline films with improved crystallinity and vertical orientation are obtained, leading to a high power conversion efficiency in solar cells. The mixed spacer cations also enhance interlayer interaction and moisture resistance, resulting in excellent humidity and thermal stability of the devices.
