Towards a theory of bottom-up holographic models for linear Regge trajectories of light mesons

S. S. Afonin et al.

Summary: We have made progress in constructing a bottom-up holographic theory of linear meson Regge trajectories, which generalizes and unites various bottom-up holographic approaches proposed in the literature. Starting from a quadratic in fields holographic five-dimensional action, we violate the Poincare invariance along the holographic coordinate in a way that is compatible with the linear Regge behavior of the discrete spectrum in four dimensions. Various Soft Wall (SW) like holographic models and No Wall models emerge from our general setup, and we argue that the 5D mass depending on the holographic coordinate allows us to describe the effects caused by non-local phenomena, such as confinement and chiral symmetry breaking.

Cornell potential in generalized soft wall holographic model

Sergey Afonin et al.

Summary: In this study, we derive and analyze the confinement potential of the Cornell type within the framework of the generalized soft wall holographic model. We find that the parameter controlling the intercept of the linear Regge spectrum plays a crucial role in the quantitative description of experimental data. Our results demonstrate the importance of the vacuum scalar sector in the formation of the confinement potential, and suggest that the scalar meson f(0)(1500) has glueball nature.

Deriving the dilaton potential in improved holographic QCD from the meson spectrum

Koji Hashimoto et al.

Summary: We derive an explicit form of the dilaton potential in improved holographic QCD (IHQCD) using the deep learning-based emergent bulk geometry obtained from experimental data. This data-driven approach determines the bulk action and the corresponding dilaton potential, satisfying the requirements in IHQCD, while confirming the quark confinement phenomenon through the holographic Wilson loop for the derived model.
