Annual and semi-annual variations of TEC over Nepal during the period of 2007-2017 and possible drivers

Summary: This study utilizes TEC data from three GPS stations in Nepal to investigate the periodic oscillations and the relationship with geomagnetic and solar activity indicators. It is found that daytime TEC is mostly driven by SAO, while nighttime TEC is dominated by AO. The geomagnetic indices AE and AU show consistency with AO, while the Dst index is strongly correlated with SAO.

The Regular Features Recorded by the Langmuir Probe Onboard the Low Earth Polar Orbit Satellite CSES

Summary: This paper presents two regular features revealed from the observations of the Langmuir probe onboard the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite (CSES). The first feature is a sudden drop in the plasma potential and floating potential data, while the second feature is a spike in the dayside plasma potential and floating potential data. These features are caused by the adjustment of the satellite-current system and the instantaneous illumination changes of the probe surface. The study confirms the reliability of the scientific data from the CSES Langmuir probe.

Inter-Calibration and Statistical Validation of Topside Ionosphere Electron Density Observations Made by CSES-01 Mission
