This review article surveys state-of-the-art sensors for detecting significant pharmaceutical compounds and highlights strategies for developing high-performance sensors tailored toward specific pharmaceuticals.

Au doped poly-thionine and poly-m-Cresol purple: Synthesis and their application in simultaneously electrochemical detection of two lung cancer markers CEA and CYFRA21-1

Summary: In this study, an electrochemical biosensor based on multiple signal amplification methods was developed for the simultaneous detection of lung cancer markers CYFRA21-1 and CEA. The biosensor, with a large number of gold nanoparticles distributed on the surface of three-dimensional graphene and other materials, showed enhanced sensitivity and a wide detection range. It has great potential for the early clinical diagnosis of multiple targets.
