Surface modification of titanium implant for repairing/improving microenvironment of bone injury and promoting osseointegration

Yao Ding et al.

Summary: Bone injury and implantation operation often lead to microenvironment damage of bone tissue. In this study, a coating composed of MnO2 nanoenzyme and Sr ions was developed to improve the microenvironment of damaged bone tissue and promote bone rescue and reconstruction. The modified Ti implant showed significant potential in accelerating bone tissue reconstruction in vivo.
