How does knowledge seeking and knowledge generation promote green supply chain management? An empirical study from China

Wei Zhang et al.

Summary: Acquiring and using knowledge resources is crucial for companies to implement green supply chain management. This study suggests that knowledge seeking and generation can prompt companies to adopt green supply chain practices, with green self-efficacy playing a mediating role. Additionally, knowledge application has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between knowledge seeking or generation and green self-efficacy.

Exploring land use/land cover change by using density analysis method in yenice

H. Aksoy et al.

Summary: This study examines the changes in forest areas and land cover in the Yenice Forestry Operation Directorate of Turkey from 2001 to 2011 and from 2011 to 2021. The density analysis method is used to analyze the changes in time interval, category, and transition levels. The results show that there was an accelerated change in the second period, with a decrease in mixed forest and agricultural areas and an increase in residential and pure forests. Different categories have different levels of activity in different time intervals, with coniferous and mixed categories targeting each other's losses in both time intervals.

Recycling as a planned behavior: the moderating role of perceived behavioral control

Zhuling Liu et al.

Summary: The study found that variables from the Theory of Planned Behavior significantly predicted recycling intention, and that the PSA video increased recycling intention through attitude, particularly among individuals with low perceived behavioral control. This suggests that environmental campaigns using video formats may be especially effective for those who perceive themselves as having low self-efficacy in recycling.

Antecedents of behavioral intentions for green city tourists

Hui-Ju Wang

Summary: This study investigates the antecedents of behavioral intentions among green city tourists by proposing a model that integrates behavioral intentions, experience quality, and three green-related constructs. The findings reveal that green city satisfaction and green perceived value positively affect behavioral intentions and function as mediators among green city image, experience quality, and behavioral intentions. The results provide significant implications for practitioners and researchers of green city tourism.

The effect of message framing and language intensity on green consumption behavior willingness

Siqi Dai et al.

Summary: This study, based on the Self-construal Theory, explored the impact of different message strategies on the willingness of green consumption behavior. The results showed that gain framing message had a more positive influence on interdependent individuals, while loss framing message was more effective on independent individuals. Nonassertive message had a positive impact on both types of individuals.

Using extended theory of planned behaviour (TPB) to predict adoption intention of electric vehicles in India

Kumar Shalender et al.

Summary: As a major energy consumer, India faces pressure to reduce energy requirements and greenhouse emissions. Electric vehicles offer a sustainable transportation option that can reduce gasoline dependence and carbon footprints. The study used an extended TPB model to predict consumer adoption of EVs, finding that factors such as attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, moral norm, and environmental concern influence adoption intention positively. The findings suggest the extended TPB model is suitable for predicting consumer adoption of EVs and provide implications for EV adoption in India and suggestions for future research.

Summary: The study found that environmental regulation has the highest impact on behavioral intention for household waste sorting, followed by perceived behavior control and attitude. Intention and perceived behavior control positively impact behavior for waste sorting, and knowledge, personal involvement, and moral responsibility have positive moderating effects on the relationship between perceived behavior control and sorting behavior.
