Summary: The study assessed the effectiveness and safety of concomitant treatment for chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). Among the 322 MDR-TB patients, 30 were treated concomitantly for HCV, with a success rate of 76.7% and a serious adverse event rate of 3.3%.
