A Novel Structural Damage Identification Method Using a Hybrid Deep Learning Framework

Yingying He et al.

Summary: Structural health monitoring (SHM) is an important technology to ensure the safety of structures, and machine learning-based structural damage identification methods have gained attention for their ability to extract features effectively. However, the existing methods face challenges in feature parameter selection and computational time. This article proposes a hybrid deep learning framework that automatically extracts features from raw signals for structural damage identification, achieving significant performance advantages over classical methods.
