Comparison of bacterial filtration efficiency vs. particle filtration efficiency to assess the performance of non-medical face masks

Summary: This study compared the BFE results of medical facemasks with the PFE results from non-medical facemasks, finding a correlation between the two. It was observed that PFE values were higher than BFE values due to differences in particle size distribution considered for efficiency calculation.
