Multi-objective Optimization Aiming to Minimize the Number of Power Quality Monitors and Multiple Fault Estimations in Unbalanced Power Distribution Systems

Paulo Estevao Teixeira Martins et al.

Summary: This paper proposes solutions for the location selection problem of power quality monitors in power distribution systems, including a multi-objective binary integer linear programming model and an analysis of the connection status of distributed generators. The research findings show that the improved allocation method can help enhance the performance of meter-based fault location methods.
