A prodrug nanoplatform via esterifiication of STING agonist and IDO inhibitor for synergistic cancer immunotherapy

Summary: Cancer immunotherapy has made significant progress, but low patient response rates and immune-related adverse events remain major challenges. In this study, TME responsive nanomedicine was developed to enhance antitumor immune responses and minimize side effects. The synthesized prodrug nanoparticles demonstrated effective tumor targeting, tumor growth inhibition, and activation of antitumor immunity. This study may have implications for future clinical trials.
