Energy-Filtered Acceleration of Charge-Carrier Transport in Organic Thermoelectric Nanocomposites

Daegun Kim et al.

Summary: The study investigated the relationship between TE properties and energy structure in organic TE nanocomposites of PEDOT:PSS with carbon quantum dots (CQDs). By introducing internal potential steps, the charge transport efficiency was improved, leading to higher power factor and ZT values. This work offers a fresh perspective on energy-filtering effects for designing high-performance organic TE nanocomposites.
