Technique for the Pressure-Driven Analysis of Water Distribution Networks with Flow- and Pressure-Regulating Valves

Nikolai B. Gorev et al.

Summary: This technical note presents a technique for pressure-driven analysis of water distribution networks with flow- and pressure-regulating valves. The technique may serve as an alternative to EPANET 2.2 in cases where the EPANET 2.0 valve treatment heuristics fails.

Fictitious Component Free-Pressure Deficient Network Algorithm for Water Distribution Network with Variable Minimum and Required Pressure-Heads

K. S. Jinesh Babu

Summary: The paper introduces a new method called Fictitious Component Free - Pressure Deficient Network Algorithm (FCF-PDNA) for analyzing pressure deficient conditions in water distribution networks. This method is able to handle variable parameter values of demand nodes and is suitable for different scenarios, with a computational time similar to that of EPANET 2.2 pressure-driven analysis.
