Observational constraints on f (R , T) gravity with f(R , T)=R plus h(T)

Gopal Sardar et al.

Summary: The present cosmological model examines the modified f (R, T) gravity theory with f (R, T) = R + h(T) in the background of the homogeneous and isotropic FLRW spacetime model. Four choices of h(T) have been studied and compared with observational data sets. It is found that model III, which is a linear combination of power law and logarithmic form, is more consistent with the observed data. However, all four models considered are less accurate compared to the LCDM model.

Summary: In this study, a non-minimally coupled cosmological model is examined to investigate the phase transition in the expansion of the universe. The viability of the model is tested using energy conditions and the statefinder diagnostic.

Anisotropic Model with Constant Jerk Parameter in f (R, T) Gravity

Summary: In the context of f(R, T) modified gravity theory, two different cosmological models, one decelerating and one accelerating, are considered. The physical and geometric properties of these models, as well as the significance of the modified f(R, T) gravity for these models, are discussed.

Observational constraint in f (R, T) gravity from the cosmic chronometers and some standard distance measurement parameters

Prabir Rudra et al.

Summary: In this work, observational data analysis on f(R, T) gravity was conducted to constrain the parameter space of the model. Five different models were considered using 30 z - H(z) cosmic chronometer data, along with standard distance measurement parameters like BAO and CMB peaks. Efforts were made to minimize the chi(2) statistic and obtain the best fit values for the free parameters models, with 1D distributions and 2D joint confidence contours generated using the CosmoMC code for different confidence intervals. Finally, the models were compared with the standard AC DM model using statistical techniques and support from the data was probed.
