Summary: This study aims to explore how companies leverage platforms for servitization in an Industry 4.0 context. Based on research conducted on four Chinese textile and apparel manufacturing companies, the study reveals the companies' achievements in digital and smart servitization enabled by platform leveraging and provides implementation approaches. The study also identifies platform-based servitization destinations and pathway dynamics.
