Performance of RF sputtered V2O5 interface layer in p-type CdTe/Ag Schottky diode

Summary: In this study, vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) thin films were successfully grown on soda-lime glass using RF magnetron sputtering technique. The impact of different sputtered power on the growth, structural and optical properties of V2O5 films was systematically studied. The results showed that V2O5 films exhibited a preferred crystal orientation and good transmittance. The performance of the Schottky diode with V2O5 interface layer (IF) for solar cell applications was also investigated, which demonstrated the important role of the V2O5 layer in enhancing the diode's performance.

Electrical and optical properties of Schottky diodes fabricated by electrodeposition of Ni films on n-GaAs

Summary: This paper investigates the electrical and optical characteristics of Schottky diodes fabricated by electrodeposition of nickel on n-GaAs substrate. The results show that the ideality factor and zero-bias barrier height remain almost constant within a certain temperature range. Additionally, the experiment demonstrates that the fabricated device can operate in a photovoltaic regime.

Characterization and evaluation of current transport properties of power SiC Schottky diode

Summary: This paper presents the characterization and evaluation of current transport properties of power SiC Schottky diode using an advanced model. The proposed model accurately assesses the effect of specific current transport mechanisms and shows the presence and influence of tunneling current in the diode's characteristics. The results and model are validated by finite element method simulations and are in good agreement with recent research.

An influence of temperature on structural, morphological, thermal, optical and photoluminescence properties of LaPO4 nanoparticles

Summary: This study investigates the properties of undoped LaPO4 nanoparticles synthesized at different optimizing temperatures, including structural, morphological, optical, and fluorescence properties. The increase in annealing temperature resulted in the transition of the sample from amorphous to more crystalline, with a decrease in band gap observed. The SEM and TEM studies revealed spherical morphology at 800 degrees C, while EDS analysis showed atomic percentages of La (22.42), P (17.69), and 0 (59.8) at that temperature.

Analysis of temperature-dependent I-V characteristics of the Au/n-GaSb Schottky diode

Summary: In this study, the current-voltage characteristics of Au/n-GaSb Schottky diodes were analyzed to investigate their current transport mechanisms at different temperatures. The study separated the measured I-V curves into thermionic emission current and secondary current, identifying the predominance between tunneling and SRH recombination currents. It was also revealed that other current transport mechanisms such as Auger and radiative recombination, and leakage currents are negligible for the Au/n-GaSb Schottky diodes in this work.
