A Novel Fully Coupled Physical-Statistical-Deep Learning Method for Retrieving Near-Surface Air Temperature from Multisource Data

Summary: A fully coupled framework integrating physical, statistical, and deep learning methods (PS-DL) was developed to robustly retrieve near-surface air temperature (NSAT) from thermal remote sensing data. The optimal combinations of remote sensing bands were chosen based on physical derivation, and deep learning was used to optimize the calculations. The NSAT retrieval accuracy was enhanced using land surface temperature (LST) and land surface emissivity (LSE) as prior knowledge.
