A Novel 2D Conjugated Coordination Framework with a Narrow Bandgap for Micro-Supercapacitors

Linyan Pan et al.

Summary: 2D conjugated coordination polymer frameworks (2D c-CPFs) are a novel class of electronic materials with significant potential in modern electronic devices. In this study, a narrow bandgap d-π conjugated coordination polymer is developed through coordination of a planar ligand with copper ions. The as-prepared coordination polymer framework is then used to prepare a hybrid layered film together with exfoliated graphene for micro-supercapacitors, exhibiting high specific capacitance and good electrochemical stability and flexibility.
