Identification of Bloodmeals from Sand Flies (Diptera: Psychodidae) Collected in the Parque Nacional do Virua, State of Roraima, Brazil

Summary: The study successfully identified the bloodmeal sources of sand flies collected from Parque Nacional do Virua in Roraima, Brazil, confirming four vertebrate species with armadillo being the most abundant source. A total of 1,209 sand flies were identified, comprising 20 species, with the most abundant species being Psychodopygus ayrozai and Psychodopygus chagasi.
