Coffee Consumption and Incident Tachyarrhythmias Reported Behavior, Mendelian Randomization, and Their Interactions

Eun-Jeong Kim et al.

Summary: In a prospective cohort study using data from the UK Biobank, it was found that higher habitual coffee consumption was associated with a lower risk of arrhythmia, and genetically mediated caffeine metabolism did not affect this association. Mendelian randomization did not provide evidence of a significant association between caffeine consumption and arrhythmias.
