A Classification Method for Workers' Physical Risk

Mapping Discrete Emotions in the Dimensional Space: An Acoustic Approach

Summary: This research predicts Activation and Valence (AV) values directly from emotional speech sound without semantic content. The system is trained on databases with dimensional annotation and successfully separates emotions according to expectations. The variance in individual measurements is high, but the system leads to an observable separation of emotions in accordance with the hypothesis.

The Arousal dimension was systematically associated with discrepancies from the theoretical predictions, resulting in an ellipse structure in all models.
