Scalable, ultra-high stretchable and conductive fiber triboelectric nanogenerator for biomechanical sensing

Yi Hao et al.

Summary: This paper reports a wet-spun fiber with scalable fabrication and knittability by copolymerizing dopamine-modified MXene and MXene/TPU fibers. The resulting fiber exhibits high stretchability, good conductivity, and reliable stability. The fiber-based triboelectric nano-generator constructed from this fiber shows stable electrical energy output even after multiple bending. The scalable integrated fabric made from this fiber can be used for energy harvesting and human motion sensing.
