The CDs demonstrated high accuracy and selectivity in detecting tetracycline antibiotics through the inner filter effect, with a linear relationship between fluorescence intensity and TCs concentration, making it suitable for application in detecting TCs in complex matrices.

Fabrication of rGO/MXene-Pd/rGO hierarchical framework as high-performance electrochemical sensing platform for luteolin detection

Summary: A nanocomposite with a hierarchical structure based on Ti3C2Tx MXene, Pd nanoparticles, and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) was synthesized using a green approach. The hierarchical framework of rGO/MXene-Pd/rGO showed enhanced electrochemical sensing performance for luteolin detection compared to other electrodes. The fabricated sensor exhibited a wide linear range, low detection limit, high sensitivity, and also showed high selectivity, reproducibility, and repeatability. Real sample analysis showed promising application prospect for luteolin detection in honeysuckle and other herbs containing luteolin.

Long-wavelength emission carbon dots as self-ratiometric fluorescent nanoprobe for sensitive determination of Zn2+

Summary: A novel ratiometric fluorescence nanoprobe based on carbon dots was developed for sensitive and selective detection of Zn2+. The nanoprobe exhibited unique fluorescence response induced by Zn2+ and showed good linear relationship and low detection limit in the tested concentration range. It was successfully applied to Zn2+ determination in human serum samples.

Summary: A novel self-enhanced photoelectric active material, Na+, K+-codoped carbon nitride (NaKCN), was synthesized for constructing a sensitive photoelectrochemical (PEC) biosensor to detect target miRNA-182-5p. The NaKCN displayed glucose oxidase (GOx)-mimicking photocatalytic property and Na+, K+ co-doping effectively improved the optical absorptivity and photocatalytic efficiency. The PEC biosensor achieved high sensitivity with a low detection limit, providing a new avenue for improving sensitivity of bioanalysis and diagnosis of diseases.
