Major hepatectomy with combined vascular resection for perihilar cholangiocarcinoma

Summary: After analyzing the surgical data of patients with perihilar cholangiocarcinoma, it was found that hepatectomy with vascular resection has comparable complication and mortality rates to hepatectomy alone, but in certain conditions, vascular resection can prolong the survival time of patients.
