The role of circular RNA hsa_circ_0001789 as a diagnostic biomarker in gastric carcinoma

The expression levels of hsa_circ_0001789 were down-regulated in GC tissues and plasma samples, and were closely correlated with the malignant characteristics of GC. Compared to traditional tumor biomarkers, hsa_circ_0001789 showed better accuracy in predicting the stage of invasion, lymphatic metastasis, distant metastasis, and TNM stage of GC.

Identification of Early Diagnostic and Prognostic Biomarkers via WGCNA in Stomach Adenocarcinoma

High expression of VCAN and PDGFRB were associated with poor prognosis of STAD, with Gene Ontology analysis indicating terms related to extracellular matrix and receptor ligand activity being significantly enriched in differentially expressed genes in STAD. Protein-protein network interaction analysis and Gene Set Enrichment Analysis further supported the key role of VCAN and PDGFRB in tumorigenesis.
