Topology management for flying ad hoc networks based on particle swarm optimization and software-defined networking

Faezeh Pasandideh et al.

Summary: Flying Ad Hoc Networks (FANETs) consist of high mobility flying nodes, such as UAVs, which require topology management adaptation to improve network performance. This paper proposes a Software-defined networking (SDN) based manageable topology formation, utilizing graph theory concepts to ensure user connectivity, alternative transmission paths, and minimize nodes as points of failure.

Secure NOMA-Based UAV-MEC Network Towards a Flying Eavesdropper

Weidang Lu et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a secure communication scheme for the NOMA-based UAV-MEC system towards a flying eavesdropper. The scheme maximizes the average security computation capacity of the system while guaranteeing a minimum security computation requirement for each GU. Mathematical derivation and optimization methods are used to solve the problem and simulation results show the superiority of the proposed scheme in terms of system security computation performance.
