Influence of brazing process and gap size on the fatigue strength of shear and peel specimen

A. Joeckel et al.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of brazing techniques on cyclically loaded components and analyzes specimens with different brazing gap widths. The results show that the manufacturing process and parameters have a significant influence on the mechanical properties and damage behavior of the brazing material, particularly the crack-like defects in highly stressed areas affecting fatigue strength.
