Improved luminescent performances of CsPbI3 perovskite quantum dots via optimizing the proportion of boron-silicate glass and precipitation processing

Fangzheng Qi et al.

Summary: In-situ crystallization of CsPbX3 perovskite quantum dots in inorganic glasses enhances their stability when exposed to air. By optimizing the rigidity of borosilicate glass, the precipitation and growth of quantum dots can be finely controlled. The glass-stabilized CsPbI3 PQDs exhibit excellent water resistance and maintain high luminescence after prolonged water exposure. The combination of CsPbI3 PQDs@glass with other materials yields bright white light with high efficiency and color rendering index.

Dual-mode glucose nanosensor as an activatable theranostic platform for cancer cell recognition and cascades-enhanced synergetic therapy

Xin Hai et al.

Summary: This study developed an integrated dual-mode glucose nanosensor as an activable theranostic platform for cancer cell recognition and enhanced synergistic therapy of lymph cancer. The cascade catalytic reaction triggered by glucose led to the degradation and release of Ag+ in AgNPs@GQDs-GOx, resulting in a turn-off colorimetric and turn-on fluorescence nanosensor for cancer cell recognition. The glucose-responsive degradation of AgNPs@GQDs-GOx also facilitated the cascades-enhanced synergistic therapy of lymph cancer.

Self-assembled copper nanoclusters structure-dependent fluorescent enhancement for sensitive determination of tetracyclines by the restriction intramolecular motion

Hai-Bo Wang et al.

Summary: This study presents a specific structure of self-assembled copper nanoclusters (CuNCs) that greatly enhances the fluorescence emission intensity of tetracycline (TC), enabling high sensitivity detection of TC. The fluorescence emission intensity of TC increases as the concentration range of TC increases, with a detection limit lower by 50-fold compared to methods without self-assembled CuNCs. Additionally, the strategy is successfully applied for determining TC contents in milk and urine samples.

Bowang Shu et al.

Summary: CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) were successfully stabilized in an aluminum stearate (AlSt(3)) matrix using an improved co-precipitation approach. The resulting CsPbBr3-AlSt(3) composites showed excellent stability and were used to fabricate a high color rendering index (Ra) white light-emitting diode (WLED) with a low color temperature (Tc). This method provides an effective way to stabilize CsPbBr3 PQDs for further applications.
