Heterolayered SnO2/SnSe Nanosheets for Detection of NO2 at Room

Summary: Heterolayered SnO2/SnSe nanosheet composites were synthesized and used as a highly sensitive sensor for NO2 detection at room temperature. The sensor exhibited high sensitivity and selectivity, as well as a low detection limit. The improved sensing performance was attributed to the presence of abundant heterojunctions and enhanced interface charge transfer in the material.

High performance langasite based SAW NO2 gas sensor using 2D g-C3N4@TiO2 hybrid nanocomposite

Summary: In this study, a high-performance langasite-based surface acoustic wave (SAW) gas sensor for nitrogen dioxide (NO2) at room temperature was developed. The sensor exhibited excellent selectivity, sensitivity, and response time, as well as stability in various relative humidity conditions. The integration of 2D materials with metal oxides shows promise for environmental protection.

Additionally, UV irradiation accelerated the gas sensing performance of the TiO2 NPs/PrGO sensor.

The superior sensing performance is attributed to the material's high porosity, large surface area, and abundant functional groups.

Surface engineering of CdS with ternary Bi/Bi2MoO6-MoS2 heterojunctions for enhanced photoexcited charge separation in solar-driven hydrogen evolution reaction

Summary: A method of proficient and scalable single-step growth of Bi/Bi2MoO6-MoS2 ternary heterojunctions on CdS nanorods using ethylene glycol mediated solvothermal growth was reported for the first time, showing excellent H-2-evolution activity. The obtained CdS-Bi/Bi2MoO6-MoS2 quaternary heteronanostructures can efficiently separate charge carriers, enhance visible light harvesting, and suppress electron-hole recombination.

Indium selenide nanosheets for photoelectrical NO2 sensor with ultra sensitivity and full recovery at room temperature

Summary: Indium selenide (InSe) nanosheets demonstrate excellent detection performance for toxic NO2 under UV activation, with high sensitivity, full recovery, and outstanding selectivity and stability at room temperature. The enhanced charge transfer and interaction between NO2 molecules and InSe caused by UV illumination contribute to the impressive detection limit of 10 ppb, one order of magnitude lower than without UV. This work provides new ideas for high-performance RT sensors based on 2D materials.

Surface acoustic device for high response NO2 gas sensor using p-phenylenediamine-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite coated on langasite

Additionally, the effect of humidity on the SAW performance under ambient NO2 was studied.
