MoSe2 nanosheets were synthesized successfully using solvothermal method and modified with TiO2 QDs to construct P-N heterostructures with the advantage of quantum dot constraint effect. Under the excitation of ultraviolet light, the developed heterojunction can effectively promote the separation and transfer of the generated charges, enhancing the room temperature sensitivity of the material for NO2 detection.
2D transition metal selenides are facing challenges in the field of gas sensing due to their short carrier lifetime and low utilization rate. Along these lines, in this work, MoSe2 nanosheets were successfully synthesized by solvothermal method, and modified with TiO2 QDs. P-N heterostructures with the advantage of quantum dot constraint effect are constructed. The developed heterojunction can effectively promote the separation and transfer of the generated charges, under the excitation of ultraviolet light, while the room temperature sensitivity of the material for the detection of NO2 is enhanced.
